Broken Window Mechanism

We are having issues with the window cranks on our RV. We have opened two windows in our new rig for the first time and on both windows the scissor arms have fallen out of the window tracks and there is no way for us to put them back in. So we have to make a trip back to do warranty work. Is anyone else having problems with this? I am extremely disappointed in this.

That happened on our 3070 re with frameless windows. The only way I could get it back in the track was to drill out the rivets, put it back on track and rerivet

OK. You should not have to drill out any rivets. I didn't. Open your window crank all the way until the two arms just about touch. Go outside the coach and with a ladder look at the pivot point for the window. You should see two screws in the hinge area holding in plastic stops or just two screws. remove one screw and remove the plastic stop if there is one. Now you can slide your window out that way. Once clear of the crank rollers, slide the window back in making sure to place the crank rollers back into their track woala you and now completed the process. Finish installing the window and put the stop and screw back in place.
