Cabinet lift strut replacement

We have a 2018 Bighorn Traveler 32RS and the overhead cabinet doors over the TV, couch and recliners are useless. I've searched the forum to see if anyone had successfully replaced them but did not find any posts. They measure 6 1/4". My husband and I think to get it open all the way we need 10" but I haven't found any made like these. We want to make the opening as far as possible to actually use this area. With the shorter struts you cannot put anything in those cabinets of any size.

I think what they're saying is they want a 10" though. They're available in all sizes, FWIW. Here's a 10 - there are lots of styles.

If you want you can also just change the strut mount if you have something non-standard. These are also available in a number of sizes and shapes. Here's a 10mm ball on a right-angle bracket:

Once you have a standard bracket (if you didn't already) you can get struts in any strength (in about 5-10lb increments) and length (in about 2" increments) and experiment to see what works best. They pop on and off with a flat-head screwdriver slid under their retaining spring. It's a good trick to know because e.g. the struts for the "basement" storage compartment hatches on our Milestone 386BH weren't strong enough and the doors would easily close (on your back/neck) in even a slight breeze. I threw a stronger pair on each door and problem solved.
