Hello,
I just finished a bunk upgrade to add a cabinet and additional storage to the upper bunk in my rear bunkroom in my 2009 BC 3490 RB. As it was new, it was just a small bunk on top and fold out sofa on the bottom. I built a platform bed for the bottom with a custom mattress that is made to fit the slide and then ordered all the materials from Heartland to make the upper bunk a built-in cabinet. I think you will see from the pictures that this would be a great option to offer when ordering a bunkhouse if you know you are not going to need the top bunks.
Next is to add the Big Horn cabinet over the toilet in my bedroom bathroom. (I have an additional 1/2 bath in the rear of my RV).
