Campgrounds around Clearwater, Fl.

I'm looking for potential campgrounds around Clearwater, Fl. for a month or so next winter. I have reviewed RVparksreview and have a few areas on a short list. I would also like to hear from any forum members that may have some personal input. Please post or PM me if you like.

We stayed in FL winters for last 8 yrs (trying Tucson this year) there are lots of choices, but instead of campgrounds they may be listed as RV Parks or Senior communities, or mobile home communities. Some allow RV's.

If you are looking at Jan-Feb, you may already be too late for the good ones. Our favorite is Bay Bayou near Tampa.

Thanks Cjackg, I'll look into that CG. I agree that getting in some place may be tough. Fortunately we've still got our reservations at the same place we've spent the last 6 or 7 winters. We just thought we would try somewhere different for part of the time.
