Camping in Marksville, LA, Paragon Casino RV Park

We arrived Thursday just before the cold rain started. Friends came up from Lafayette, LA to join us. Another couple due to arrive today. We will be heading home tomorrow. This is just a short, quet, relaxing weekend. Today is bright, sunny and warming up. We will be grilling this afternoon. Maybe give a " donation" to the casino this evening. I was lucky enough to grab $50 from the slots last night. They will probably try to get it back tonight (LOL). This is a nice campground and does not fill up in the off season. The casino has shuttles always cruising park providing transportation. Also has excellent security present and cruising the park. The RV park staff are always friendly and helpful. Best part is the rates per night are very inexpensive. All amenities are great. Haven't seen any HOC members but this RV park is very appealing and it is not too far from I-49, east of Alexandria, LA on LA Hwy 1. It is only a 100 mile drive from my home in Baton Rouge, LA.

We have been there a couple of times. Nice place.
FYI, it is a Passport America park.

Peace

I need to get up that way and check it out. I think our fall rally will be at Poches fish camp. I am waiting on dates right now.
