Campsites, campsites, everywhere a campsite

So here in NE Iowa winter is just really starting. Snow is flying and temps are dropping. In fact many of us are driving to and from work in the dark. How people that don't camp survive the winter is unclear to me! Anyway, I thought it would be fun, interesting, and perhaps even helpful if we could share states and the top one or two favorite campgrounds.
I'll even start:
NE Iowa:
Site #1: a private campground on a bluff with no mosquitoes! Great kayaking, fishing, bicycling, and kite flying with solid green space all around you; www.wecamp.com
Site #2 Volga River Recreation Area Campground, Fayette, Iowa 52142 - 10225 Ivy Rd, From town, go 4 mi N on Hwy 150, then 2 mi E on gravel road., GPS: 42.87881, -91.76914
Lots of level space, plenty of room to roam and few lights to block out the stars at night! Plus a whole other campground for those that bring horses! Just relaxing.
