Can I walk on my North Trail 23 RBS 2014 to pressure spray the dirt and caterpillar crap

Thanks wanderers , the Rv dealer sent off a quote to my insurance without any questions as to how, where or what happened a mere $3000 dollars I called ins. Company and explained this guy had no idea and me having spent 37 years in Aircraft repair and engineering for a major airline. I explained where his quote lacked. They had ok’d the fix just needed me to sign approval , I said I could not accept that fix it was unsafe and not a person had any kind of repair licence. So after an actual appraiser went out , again limited Rv experience it was just sledge it back into place and the hangar brackets can be recycled a reused. Apply heat a sledge ….I think not , this is my safety and anyone on the road near me. UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE. After all heard my resolve they were all concerned with my knowledge and the RV dealer admitted he could not do the undercarriage and has backed off And reminded his quote , the other appraiser said I was right and said I was wrong in thinking that RV dealers were going to have licensed approved repair men in all areas. So keep looking for a repair service. The delaminates is a specialized area so , we are looking for them , next stop for trailer after the 8 warranty items are done by the dealer took my money, the trailer is going to a large trailer fabricator who believes he will be able to have a trailer axle made by a company in the next province and he will be able to fabricate all the rest ! PERFECT , now to get this done safely and before the snow flys to do my first winterize. Thanks for your input , greatly appreciated during this tough year !

Not sure why you have to have a new axle made locally. They can be ordered from Dexter or Lippert (whichever you have) and a full axle assembly comes with spring packs and probably new brake assemblies. No guesswork involved. Go by the sticker on the axle shaft.

By the way Northtrailers: just in from Northland service Dept .

Yes, the roof is walkable, we would advise avoiding stepping on seams or towards appliances in the roof.

The roof is 3 inches, please see brochure attached.

We would suggest taking the unit to a service center to evaluate the delam.

Please follow this link to use our dealer locator to find a local dealer to you.

We do not archive or have access to historical manuals. We recommend going to the Heartland website https://heartlandrvs.com/owners-manual/ & referencing the latest manual for general information on your unit.

Thank You,
