I have the big easy and we love it. you can cook a lot of different things in it and they all come out great. Clean up is a breeze. You can basically clean the vessel, the basket and any accessories with just a wiping of wet rag. The drippings tray needs dumped and then washed out. We still travel with our sons so it is really nice to be able to make a whole ham, turkey, 2 chickens(at the same time), or roasts for a dinner and then have t he left overs for another meal or lunch the next day.
I have had the best corn on the cob and baked potatoes made using TBE.
For us, we keep the unit in the garage of our toy hauler, but I think I could get it to fit into the belly of my unit. We have always carried an extra 15 lb propane bottle for grilling so I did not look at that as another extra thing to bring TBE has 3 inch legs that can be removed if that helps. The smoker is bigger and not sure if it will fit standing up.
I know of other users that have made breads and pizza in their unit. There is a small learning curve to using it but once you figure it out, you'll be using it more and more. These units are very efficient and the propane last longer using TBE then when I used my old turkey fryer unit.
the only negative thing that I will say about this type of cooking (infra red for those that do not know) is that use the device until the internal temperature reaches a certain point. This can very widely based on the outside temperature and wind. It is difficult to have food done at a certain time due to this.
Any other questions, just ask.
