City water connection ???

Trailer Trash

We have an 09 Bighorn 3370, when I connect to city water it runs without giving us pressure in the RV. Can't figure out where the water is going, its not in the bottom cover of the RV, when I drain both grey an 1 black tank no unusual extra water comes out, ( I put way more in than came out) so where is it going and why no pressure ? We are getting by with filling the trailer water tank and using it. Thanks for any ideas.

It is going into the belly of the trailer or the water tank. No other place for the water to go unless it’s running inside your trailer wall. Are you SURE you are hooking up to city water and not black tank flusher.

have you tried emptying your fresh water tank leaving the drain valve open and hooking up to city water to see if water starts running out the valve

What kind of docking station set up do you have? Is it original? I'm on board w/ rhodies1 that it's going into your fresh tank which would lead me to believe you have a issue w/ docking station hook up.

If it's going to your fresh, note that it's almost certainly a leak, not a wide-open valve (we'd assume you had checked any valve settings already). Because of this, it might take a LONG time to fill a fresh-water tank especially if it's starting out empty - hours or even days, depending on the leak. That means you might very well hear the water hissing in the hose but not notice any other effect. One way to confirm this is to open the low-point drain on your fresh water tank. Let it drain fully, then turn on the hose. If water comes out again, it confirms the issue. (For a very slow leak you might need to close the drain, let the situation "happen" for an hour, then open it to confirm.)

The day I took possession of my new trailer I confused the hookups in the docking station. I ended up with the water coming out of the toilet. I caught it with no permanent damage.
