La. state parks? You have a nice one up north east. Poverty point. Great place with nice sites and close to Vicksburg.

My wife and I actually went there back in college for some bonus points on a history class I was taking. Wow that's been a while. I need to get some pins to put on the wooden state map my wife made!

Frank, there is a nice inexpensive rv park run by the Casino right next to Vicksburg and it runs a shuttle to the casino.
