Cyclone 3800 Outdoor Shower Quick Connect

Need some ideas for the outdoor shower quick connect fitting. It constantly jams and does not allow me to attach the blue coiled hose. I took it apart and cleaned it and lubed it but the next time I went to use it it was seized again. Funny thing is it looks clean. Any ideas on a fix or suggestions to convert it to something different ?

Mine gets stuck on our Cyclone. I just use a small screwdriver to jar it loose. Works ok after that.
