Cyclone 4200 Modifications begin here

Hi Sniper

I installed my pinbox myself. To make life easy on yourself get some 1/2in solid rod or rebar before you start. I also replaced all of my bolts since I just feel that when they are tighted from the factory they may be over tignited. ( better safe than sorry). First check your pin height to the ground. I use the front of the pinbox but that is up to you as long as you use the same point on the we box.Use your truck to help remove the old pinbox. Remove a few bolts from the front and back of the pinbox. At that point slide the 1/2in rod through a bolt hole in the front and back of the pinbox. Remove the rest of the bolts now. You can lift up the box and pull one of the rods out at a time to lower the box onto your truck bed. Reverse the process for installing the pinbox using blocking or a helper to get the box into position. Slide the rods in and check your height compared to the pin height to the ground so it matches your starting number. I checked my torque on the last three trips just to be sure and depending on your camper I was able to go from five to six bolts. I hope this helps.
Thanks for info John. A new Pin Box is on our list.

Modifications continue here with the installation of beveled aluminum airline track. Making it practical to secure anything placed in the garage area. To include toys, golf clubs, furniture, etc

Some might say it's overkill but my thinking is do it right the first time. As I said, I can now secure practically anything in the garage.

Tie down hardware looks good. Never know what you got to tie down, big or small.

Because of your help my friend. Thanks again for the suggestions. Installing the hardware was time consuming but in my opinion well worth it.

Modifications continue here with the installation of an led garage light under the happy jack beds. The queen beds block the ceiling mounted lights so this works pretty well to light up the garage area. Modifications continue here with the installation of Lipperts frame and bins storage system for storing black water hoses and fittings. Since my 4200 has two fuel tanks the only place to mount this system to the frame was at the back. It also caused me to cut off the bracket that is welded to the frame. It took a little longer but I like the way it came out.

Chris, If I were to mount the bins in that location on our rig I would not be able to back into the driveway with them in the frame. Just a thought to keep in mind with the rear as you maneuver. But, they are easy enough to pull out if you need the clearance.

I did keep that in mind when I installed them. But also knew they were simple to remove. So far I have never had the back bottom out.

Modification continue here with a Pinnacle stackable washer (18-820) and a dryer (18-850) the height is only 60". This modification was completed last year but since many questions have come up on the forum about which models will fit in the Cyclone 4200 I am posting it here.
