Cyclone - 6 point leveling system bug

We have a 2014 cyclone 4000 elite with the level up system


By far we have enjoyed the system so much so we traded up our older unit that did not have it.


Our last trip I started seeing an error that ive yet to find cause for.


The unit works intermediate.

You begin to lower your jacks and after a few seconds you can hear a click from the front compartment and jacks stop.

Wait a few seconds and hit button again jacks begin to move a few seconds then stop again the whole time display has power never resets


This happens to any jack on the rig and now even the main slides in the unit that are powered by the same hydraulic system have the same bug.


End of day you can get the jacks up or down but takes forever with a every few second timeout and then few seconds no response then kicks back in.


This happens on battery/shore/gen.

Any input would be breat

Sounds like you may have a weak circuit breaker.

There's a row of 12V DC mini-circuit breakers near your battery. They're usually covered by a red rubber boot. One of those breakers powers the hydraulics. If the breaker is weak, it will do exactly what you describe.

Another possibility is loose/dirty/corroded connections at the battery terminals, or at the pump.

In the picture, note there are 2 breakers that have thicker wires. The one with thick wires on both sides goes to the Power Converter/Fuse Box. The other is for the hydraulics. The arrangement of breakers on your rig is probably a little different than the picture. With power disconnected, and the battery cutoff OFF, you can change a breaker in 5 minutes. You need a 50 amp auto reset with the same form factor. Check at your RV dealer or a marine parts store. Sometimes auto parts stores carry them. They're less than $10.
