Deflector shield under sofa slide - 3110

We were returning home this morning after a weekend camping trip. I happened to notice a piece of rubber fly out from under the sofa slide. I stopped and the tire was ok but the end of the rubber deflector shield had dropped down onto the rear tire. It didn't take long for the tire to rub it in two. It appears to me that there were not enough screws to fasten this rubber shield to the frame. Also the last span that fell was more than 18 inches long and the rubber pulled out from the single end screw holding the end of the rubber shield. Here are the photos to give you a "heads up" to check your rigs. I'm past my warranty so I guess I will have to hustle up some of this rubber to fix it myself.

You might try contacting Heartland. When I lost the long strip off the top of the slide (due to missing screw), they just sent me another one at no cost even though I was out of warranty. I seem to recall having to email them a couple of pix so they could see what I was talking about.
Whole thing took less than two weeks.
