Replaced my DirecTV service with Dish this week. Took awhile to program the remote to my Legend TV. Code 506 works on/off, volume and mute. Can't find this documented in the Dish remote guide.
I wasn't able to locate the code either, had to do the manual search method till it worked. You may need to download the manual for your remote from the dish.com web site to get the directions on how this is done.
