I recently purchased a 2011 Sundance XLT with the dometic rm2652 that worked on lp but not 120v.
I ohmed out the heater element, it ohmed out to spec, 44 ohms at room temp, and I had 120v to heater drawing correct amps. Checked 12v power for control, good there also, still unable to cool freezer or fridge on ac power. Disconnected wiring and gas. Pulled fridge out of wall and removed the heating element from mounting tube and found scale built up in tube and on the element. I was able to sand element and clean the tube. reinstalled fridge, started it on a/c and it's cooling fine. Just thought I would share what I found. No idea where the scale came from as previous owner said he never used fridge on elec.
