Experiencing reduced cooling efficiency in a Dometic roof-mounted AC unit could be due to various reasons, one of which might be a lower refrigerant (coolant) level. While it's logical to consider topping off the coolant, it's important to note that portable rv air conditioner are generally sealed systems, and adding refrigerant without addressing the underlying issue, such as a leak, is not recommended.
