Dometic Sealand 310 Delay in Water Flow

I have been working on my Dometic Sealand 210 for different stuff this Summer and Fall. I had the plastic shaft on the dumping ball valve round out its end and stop actuating the ball; then recently the water valve (with the mushroom cap that is actuated by a cam surface on the pedal) plastic shaft started bending (intermittently) instead of going down and turning on the flush water. What I found in both instances is that Dometic has upgraded these 2 actuator shafts from plastic to brass on the replacement parts.

Our slow water may be water quality related. Tony says he's going to try to clean the screen at the inlet with CLR, said there was a little buildup when he had it apart before. Will report back what we find.

Update, the CLR helped for a bit, but we are back to a 2-3 second delay from petal push to flowing water in toilet.

I assume I need the replacement valve?
