E289 Electric Fireplace Install/Mod

Hi All,


Just wanted to share my EFP install with you.

I ordered a Greystone 26" FP to keep with what Heartland uses with models that come factory equipped with them

Given the angle of the entertainment area i had to cut the inner wall inside the cabinet to give me the clearance i needed which no one will see anyway

I used the wood from the demolition to frame the opening so everything matches exact(was really weird hacking apart a brand new trailer!)


I used high use 12/3 wire for the 1500w required which is overkill but great for my peace of mind. Was a bit of a pain fishing it from the slide, through the frame and finally to the panel.

Total cost was around $400 Canadian

Was a bit of a pain.....but the wife is happy
