EdenPURE as a alternate heat source.

I know lots of people who are using the EdenPure heater in their homes. What are the pros and cons of its use in a RV or specifically Heartland Products like my Sundance?

We use our EdenPure in our North Trail all the time. Works great. Very quiet, but larger than some heaters.

We have a Comfort furnace which is a infrared heater like the Edenpure. It works great in the RV,but if you are going to be in temps below freezing, they can work to good. The infrared has to be set low enough so the RV heater can come on and put warm air into the heater vents to keep the water lines from freezing.I found out that the colder it gets outside, the more the forced air furnace needs to run to keep things from freezing in the basement.

A solution to the basement problem is to put a 40-60w light bulb in the basement behind the UDC. We have a switch with a light on it in the trailer so we know it is on. You can also buy a plug that turns on/off automatically based on temperature.
