Entry Handle Foam Replacement

I did a search and could not find anything on this but then who knows what wording I should have used. In any case has anyone replaced the foam cover on the entry stair handle? I had to replace the front door foam and the back is getting closed to needing replacement. I used Stromberg-Carson Lend-A-Hand Foam Grip Wrap but I am not sure that anything with tape will last in Arizona heat so we will see. Is there anything better and how difficult is it to get a new foam tube over the metal handle?

i put on a new foam cover that i got off a handle I bought at the swap tables in Goshen. Got the foam off the purchased spare using a little soapy water. Put it on my handle with same method. Would like to know if someone finds a replacement material source.

I have replaced the foam on my handle with the foam grips that are sold for canes. Something like this......

Soap and water and the new one slides on.
