I saw a Sundance pulled by a black (looked like a GM) truck heading north on I-25 south of downtown Denver this morning on my way to work . . .

I was wondering if they might be on their way up there?

For anyone driving through Denver . . .

I-25 is closed in both directions between I-225 and Dry Creek Road due to a tanker crash and fire.

They are saying possibly two days.

CDOT is waving toll charges for tonight on the E-470 toll road, but not sure about tomorrow.

For anyone rolling through there tomorrow I'd definately not do it during the rush hours (7-9am & 3-6:30pm).

Yes!

That section is just north of where I work at County Line & I-25.

Dry Creek Road exit is just north of County Line Road (right when you hit Denver on the south side) . . .

Or, if you know where the IKEA store is . . . right there!

Garry of 470 E is free, that is the fastest way to go. Otherwise about $40 in tolls.

Is that the toll road just as I enter the Denver area coming westbound from Monument?
What exit do I get off on, once on 470?

You will go all the way around until you hit the I 25 exit to Fort Collins.

E470 (the one that goes east of Denver) is the toll road . . .

C470 to the west is the free road, but is a longer, but more scenic drive.

E470 was free tonight due to the crash (first time I've ever driven it), not sure if it will be tomorrow.

Garry, what time are you leaving the campground in the morning?

I'll try to find out and let you know if E470 is free, or if I-25 will be open.

And, tune in to The Blow Torch (850 KOA AM) for traffic reports.

We live on the north side so won't have to deal with that mess.

We plan on arriving at the KOA around 1pm. (Check-in is at 1pm).
