Wish we could make this one . . .

We are originally from southern Michigan (Jackson) and would like to come back and go camping in Michigan again sometime in the near future.

But it won't be this year as we are planning on going out west to visit my brother in Lake Tahoe, California for our big summer trip.

We are leaving this Saturday to go to the Arizona HOC rally next week west of Pheonix.

Maybe we'll see you all next summer (2016)!

Blanca and I were planning to come to the rally to visit with good friends (miss all of you) but we have just been notified that we have a summer job in Oregon and ill not be returning to Michigan this summer

Jim thanks for the welcome and invitation to the Heartland Rally. I think...I'll have to check the dates but we have a prior commitment to Grand Rapids. One a Family Reunion and the following weekend also in Grand Rapids is a Midwest Stamp Show. The Largest Stamp show in the U.S. I sure would like to make the Hearland Rally though if at all possible.

Jim & Donna Heibeck will arrive on Tuesday, August 25, leaving Sunday August 30. We made reservations at the part this morning. We are looking forward to another excellent time at the rally.

Just heard from the park and they again informed me that they will release any of the sites as needed after April 1st. As of now there are plenty of sites, but he told me that once reservations start rolling in (spring fever) they fill pretty quickly. He will hold our area as long as possible. If you reserve late you may not be able to be sited with the Heartland group but wherever sites are available.
We also want to plan an afternoon or evening for a lumberjack demonstration that is available along with a day on the Island.
For anyone interested, we will golf on either Wednesday or Thursday, Maybe both

Now that tax season is over I won't be so lax on Updating this. Although we are still in the planning stages, I hope to have almost all finalized by the next newsletter. I believe we will have a meet and greet on 8-27, probably late afternoon or early evening. More than likely, for those interested, we will be going to the Island on Friday,8-28. Pot luck and breakfast have yet to be decided, though it will more than likely be Saturday. As a pre rally I am sure Jim Heibeck and I will golf on Wednesday, 8-26. Others are more than welcome, The more the merrier.
