We have stayed at this park before. Right on the Yellowstone river, north of the north entrance to Yellowstone park which is a much quieter entrance. We are going to try and arrange our schedule to be there...will let you know

I just booked Gary and us for the rally!
That leaves 13 spots reserved.

Pam and I were talking about things to do for the rally and she suggested that we go to Tom Miners pass, about 10 miles from the RV Park . The Grizzly bears are there foraging roots for winter hibernation and the viewing area is about 200 yards from the bears! Sounds like a photo safari to me!

She also said rafting on the Yellowstone River was still possible.

We could go to Gardner next to Yellowstone Park and watch the elk bugling!

There is also the Yellowstone Association in Gardner that May give us a talk about the park.

It’s your rally members. Please let us know your interests!

We will be having the usual raffles, prize giveaways, 20/20 ect.

Last year we had two Green Mountain Smokers given away.

Sherry just reminded me ! Chico Hot Springs has lovely pools of natural mineral water, with a great world class restaurant is only 10 minutes away!

Wow, that all sound like a super time! I will be staying in the truck for the "BearS"....Fresh meat would be more appealing vs roots!

Here is a question... I see Heartland has canceled all Rally's for 2020. So, you canceled this rally. If everyone has their travel plans and reservations made, why not just turn it into a NON Heartland sponsored Rally and just have a huge Campout. Everyone still can make their plans and have a great time.

That’s what we’re doing in a couple weeks. The PA rally has been canceled too but the chapter leaders, Dale & Karen, along with many of us are going anyway. Who needs HL to have a good time!

Hi Ann and Ted - At this time, only rallies through September are cancelled with the exception of the Mountain Region Rally in September. These decisions were made by Heartland Corporate.

Good for you! It's all about the friendships!

Many of the Chapters are having camp-outs, so if anyone was planning on attending a rally check the thread or contact the Chapter Leader to see if there is a camp-out going on.

Dan and I are still planning on going to Livingston even though the rally has been cancelled.
