EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: NV, Las Vegas - 9/23/2011 to 9/25/2011

Hey Bob & Patty,

Just talked with Floyd on the phone, he is currently RVing at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort and doesn't have a laptop with him. I relayed your message to him. No idea what day we'd have a potluck or a raffle. He was working on getting some buffet discounts for the group at some of the hotel/casino restaurants. Since he doesn't have any 'club' funds to start any group activities, he's not sure at this point what he's doing. I'll work with him while we're at my rally in Paso Robles and see if we can get an agenda planned out. I'll post more at a later date.... AFTER my rally is over!

Floyd, has John told anyone that we need to bring raffle gifts??? It would be nice to know ahead of time. Any idea what time the potluck is and what we should bring??? I know you cant add to the thread cause John put it up. I have not had too much luck getting replys from John. Patty is in her "need to know" mode.

I am here and just can't be everyware, I have been posting for Floyd, Jim was able to get Floyd set up so he could post on his own rally. Floyd was nice enough to take the job and set up the rally and find out what he could about things we all might want to do when we are there. As for the funds for the regional rally there were no funds sent to me only a check for expenses thats why it's hard to get new leaders. I hope this answers your question. See you in vegas.

Hi everyone, DW Debbi and I were planning to come to the Las Vegas Rally and stay at the Silverton, but due to the hot weather expected in the 90's, my docs made me cancel out as I take Plavix (a blood thinner). We are bummed it sounded like a fun trip, but say hi to everyone for us, sorry we will miss our good friends and hope to see you all soon.

Sorry...we drove all the way to Las Vegas and had to leave the very next day & drive back to CA. It was much too HOT (100 degrees) for me & our fur babies, we were suffering with the heat. We've learned one thing, not to travel in our HL rig where temps are over 90 degrees, it doesn't get cool or comfortable enough inside the rig.
Hoping everyone has a GREAT time at your rally!! Maybe we'll come back to Vegas next month when the weather is cooler to do all the things we had planned to do while we were there.
