"THE PRE-PRE 2016 LAS VEGAS NATIONAL RALLY OF THE SOUTHWEST"

This Rally is being scheduled ahead of the Pre-Las Vegas National Rally, beginning October 2, 2016. Leave this Rally on October 2nd and caravan to The Oasis RV Park in Las Vegas the same day. (200 miles and about 4 hours away)


This is a nice family owned park near Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Cedar Breaks, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and Duck Creek (good for ATVing).

The Bauer family has owned this property for generations. They have livestock and orchards on these premises. There is also a trout stream that runs through the property.

Easy access from I-70 to the north, or I-15 from the south.

Site fee is $30 with Good Sam Membership. ($33 without)

Wednesday 9-28-2016 at 5PM the proprietors Doug and Tamie Bauer will be preparing an old fashioned chuck-wagon cookout for our Rally Group From Both Parks. The cost will be $18 dollars per person.

On Friday September 30, 5PM at our evening campfire/happy hour, we will be having a raffle/gift exchange. Each rig is being asked to bring a gift in the $10 to $20 range. We will also have a 50/25/25 raffle.


This is a small park and we won't be able to increase our number of sites. Registration can begin immediately.

I have made arrangements with nearby Bryce-Zion RV Park to accommodate all those on the standby list; This park is a short 5-10 minute drive from park number one. We will function as ONE RALLY as far as events.

Mike and Edythe (gasman) our Utah Chapter Wagon Masters, will be staying at this location to answer questions and coordinate events with me, between the two parks. Many thanks to Mike and Edythe!

*****If you have never visited Utah, it is consistently voted as one of the top three or four most scenic states in the U.S. For that reason, my plan is not to overload this Rally with a busy agenda. My thought is to let everyone explore this one of a kind natural wonder at their own pace, either alone or in groups....****** If your navigation tries to send you through Zion NP, you can not pull your rig through the tunnel. Ask for an alternate route that takes you through Kanab on Hwy 89 if you are coming from the South.

89 is good most anywhere, it is a very scenic drive. Are you saying you would be coming up from I-40? Unless you have a reason to go that far south, I would come over to Salt Lake City on I-80 and then hook up with 89 south. Trace

Yes, we will be coming from OKC (Buckeyes v Sooners 9/17/16), so we will continue through Amarillo, ABQ, and Flagstaff en route.
Called CG yesterday, got the fill in weekend team. "Not taking September 2016 reservations yet". Said Tami will call me back when she comes in.

I know for many of you, attending this Rally would be contingent on being able to register for the 2016 National Rally in Las Vegas.

However, please read over the following and consider this; they have a very lenient cancellation policy. Within 7 days for full refund.

This is a small park, so we are only able to get 15 sites for our group. Don't be left out, please make your plans and reserve early.

For anyone planning to attend the 2016 Las Vegas National Rally, get an early start. Consider attending this Pre-Las Vegas National Rally, Utah Chapter Event.

This is a great family owned park near Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Cedar Breaks, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and Duck Creek (good for ATVing). Southern Utah contains some of the most amazing scenic wonders anywhere.

This park is a very scenic, easy access from I-70 or I-15, from the north or south.


We are planning a caravan from this Chapter Rally down to the Oasis RV Park, which is a leisurely 200 mile, 4 hour drive from Bauers Canyon RV Park.
