EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: UT, Moab - 5/19/2015 to 5/26/2015

Thank you, thank you, to everyone who came and participated to make this Rally special.
Getting folks from nine different states to little town in Utah is a pretty big deal.

Special thanks to Len and Terry for entertaining us with live music on two evenings.

Also a shout out to Mike, Edythe, Sue, Liz, Roger and Judy and all the others that are always there helping.

Already looking forward to our Fall Chapter Rally in September! Trace and Teri

T & T......Melody and I had a great time at our first Utah Rally. We are at Zion River Resort and will get the pics on the forum as soon as I can. Might have to wait til I get home to have faster internet, but let everyone know when it happens.

Well, it's over. The final campfire ended with warm embraces, promises to keep in touch, and quiet hand-in-hand walks as couples returned to their rigs. The morning was quick-paced,with little said, as rigs were packed with individual concentration. Finally, we scattered. A final wave, or two, and we too hit the road. Now, back at home, I can close my eyes and still recall the sights and sounds of friendly people, hear the roar of our tour boat engine, and enjoy the smell of outdoor-cooked bacon still lingering on my senses. I have the promise that before those memories turn to black and white, another rally will refresh me. As I left, and saw Moab getting smaller and smaller in my mirrors, I had to remind myself; don't be sad, or even mad, cause this has been the best darn rally we've ever had!

Thanks Trace and Terry for putting on this rally in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Moab has been on my bucket list since I started jeeping many years ago. Thanks to my DW Karol for driving my jeep 900 miles from Bend to Moab (and back) with the wind noise in the soft top jeep, I was able to cross Moab off the bucket list. I wish we were able to stay another couple of weeks. There is no end to the scenic beauty in that part of Utah. It was great to reunite with old friends and meet new ones. Can't wait for our next rally. We will see a lot of you in Monitor, Heber City or Lake Havasu in the coming months!

We are finally home after visiting our daughter and her family in Herriman UT following the rally in Moab. Just wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to the two of you for working so hard to make it such a successful event. We enjoyed every part of it, especially the spectacular Jet Boat ride.
