fireplace under the entertainment center

i don't remember where i read it but found out there is an outlet hidden behind a false panel. mine is there but it is dead, is it possible that the breaker is missing but the wiring goes all the way there?

I don't know the answer to your question but my fire place is plugged into an outlet that is in the cabinet to the right of the fireplace.

Do you have no fireplace and are wondering why the outlet that would power it is not active?

Ours has it,s own 15 amp breaker.

On my BH, I had a wire run behind my breakers that was not installed. Heartland had red tape over the end. When I asked about it, they said it was a fireplace. I never looked for the other end. So I would think if you pulled out your breaker box the other end my be back there.
