First Ever Heartland Encounter

We arrived at Thousand Trails Chesapeake Tueday 10-16 and to our amazement there was a Bighorn 5ver sitting on a site. This was our first sighting of a Heartland RV other than at a rally. There was no TV at the site so we left one of our new Heartland cards that we were given at the East Coast Rally the beginning of Oct. Today we met Gus and Cathy-- must have talked for 1 1/2. They purchased their Bighorn in Aug and are not on the forum. Told them to join so hopefully we'll see them sometime soon.

Way to go. Those cards do come in handy. Not many attendees took packets of them at the SE rally so I hope others took a few packets. They're sort of handy. Just jot your site number and maybe your cell number on one and leave it on the door handle for your Heartland kin to find. Instant friends.
