Can replacement doors, rubber flashing, etc. be ordered directly from Heartland? Having a hard time finding sources for parts on my 2009 Big Country.
thanks

Re: Froward cargo door replacement

Hi Marc,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

Yes you can order parts from Heartland. Call Heartland Customer Service, 574-262-8030 or 877-262-8032, have your VIN and maybe even a picture of what you want and ask for parts department.

If your a member of the Heartland Owners Club be sure you tell them and you will get a little discount.

Re: Froward cargo door replacement

I had to replace the front cargo door on my Big Country. I ordered mine through my dealer. They sent the VIN number with the order as well as a picture and Heartland still sent the wrong one. My trailer is tan and Heartland sent a grey door. Freight was as much as the door. The door included the frame around it with all of the rubber seals. Since I only needed the door this was all I use. The frame is now holding my old door which I damaged with the tail gate being down when I turned. I plan on getting some stick on diamond plate and covering the door and use it when I damage the new door.

Thanks for the feedback, the diamond plate is an interesting idea. My damage happened the same way, corner of the tailgate ;(
i'll give Heartland a call to get a quote.

Don, I love your Positive Attitude! You are positive that the damage will happen again :)

which I damaged with the tail gate being down

BT-DT-GTTS

Did mine trying to get the hitch back in the truck. Had it hanging on the pin box over the winter.

Got a new door while at the Goshen rally in 2011.
Also, unrelated, I replaced all the rubber seal around those doors, got that from Heartland as well.

If you are replacing the rubber seal for the cargo doors, be sure not to stretch it while applying, and be generous around the corners. Too tight and it will eventually pull away.
