Front compartment carpet

Once I got the mess cleaned up from the squirrels that decided to make a home in my front compartment after I left it open. I got some car carpet and cut it to fit in there to protect the metal from scratches. Hopefully preventing rust...

I did something similar with a piece of remnant. It also helps to prevent things from sliding around.

Looks great! I have some random pieces of carpet to prevent cargo shift but your work seems much better.

Yep - we put carpet in our front compartment that we got a junk piece from a place that was recarpeting an office. Works great!!

I've considered using the interlocking squares but was concerned about items catching and tearing into the material. What has you experience been?
