Gasoline Leak

I have had a similar problem when the camper was sitting at a "nose down" attitude out of level with a nearly full tank. but after burping the tank the problem stopped.

I will be calling Heartland tomorrow. The trailer has leaked everytime we've gone out, just doesn't matter how it's been sitting. Will let you know. I'm used to putting fires out not starting them.

talked to Sandy @ Heartland parts dept., she looked up the build sheet for my trailer and said that the gas cap is still available for it, (I'm the second owner & don't know if it was changed), so I will purchase a new one from her and hopefully this will stop the leaking. gotta start somewhere.

No, didn't know anything about it. I mentioned the HOC (as that's where I saw the first article) to the first person I talked to in service and was told that they hadn't heard of it. Go figure.
