GE Air Conditioners

We own a 2021 keystone Bullet Ultra Lite and it came with GE units. Within the first 8 months the main unit failed and it was replaced under warranty. Within 6 months the new unit failed and was also replaced under warranty. We are on the third unit and it didn't last 5 months. I'm a little disenchanted with GE units. Fortunately we purchased the extended warranty for 7 years so I guess we will just keep replacing the units! Our dealership contacted Keystone and they didn't offer a solution. May just shop for a different manufacturer when we upgrade next.

I’m not a fan of the GE units. Poor reliability and poor support for the RV Technician

A lot of speculation and rumors have on GE units. Technicians can call tech support just like any other AC manufacturer. They can ship a replacement part overnight at no charge, and they are quieter than most units. Installed many from each brand. Furrion, Coleman, Dometic, GE, and some off brands. All AC units wear out, have issues, and have horror stories. Now we even install mini splits and 12v AC on units.

I replaced a Dometic 13.5 in the bedroom of my 2014 Bighorn with a 15K GE, only because it was the only one available at the time. So far it has done very well and no complaints. I also have a Wack-O silencer on it and they work great. Interesting fact I found out from the mobile repair service that performed the replacement.....The GE top part matches up perfectly with the Dometic mounting bracket and the Dometic thermostat plugs right in and works perfectly. They told me that this was one of the few replacements that you could do that with. If I had not been RVing at the time I would have bought it much cheaper directly and replaced it myself, because it's not that hard to replace.
