German Chocolate Upside Down Cake (Mt Airy Rally)

1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cube butter
1 8 oz. cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbl. butter

9 x 13 pan
Parchment paper optional

Preheat over to 350

Line pan with parchment paper or use 2 Tbl butter and butter bottom of pan, also butter parchment paper.
Layer chocolate chips, coconut and nuts in bottom of pan.
Mix cake according to package directions and pour over chips, etc.
Melt cube of butter and cream cheese together. Add powdered sugar, mix well. Pour in strips over cake, do not mix it in, let it stay on top. Bake in 350 oven for 45 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
Cake can be turned out on a cookie sheet if using parchment paper or serve in baking pan if desired

Youngsters! Now that we buy our artifical "spreads" cube's are unheard of. Like when I tried to teach my young niece how to read a clock, all she knew was digital. This surfaced when I said it was a quarter to 10 and not 9:45.
