Hi Goober,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

If you have questions about anything in/on your unit, you can find the answer most likely right here using the search option. We have a great search engine on the forum, both simple and advanced. Sometimes that is the fastest way to find an answer instead of waiting on someone to reply. While you are getting acquainted with the forum try out the search tab for fun.

Also we have a great owners manuals and Heartland User Guide area in the Tools tab at top of page. A lot of the guides are written by members or owners that actually used the subject.

And we also have the best folks in the rv world right here to help out with opinions and suggestions.

Howdy Goober.

I see you have a 2009 Cyclone. Feel free to post your Cyclone specific questions here in the Cyclone Community (link).

We have a chapter of the Heartland Owners Club in Oklahoma too. Here's a link to details about their next club event coming up in April.

Welcome!

Hey, Hey, Hey! Goober:
Welcome to the forum. You can get a lot and give a lot as you RV ownership time gives you more experiences, and you remember the postings you have read here. I click on "Forum" and "New" every time I check out the site, although you can get the same stuff with clicking "What's New". As JimToo said our resource of subsystem/components manuals is terrific. I know of people who own other brands using this as a resource for their rigs. Another forum feature to remember is the "Search" function at the top right of each page. Too many time we seem to rehash the same questions just a week or two after they had been previously posted. Using the "Search" function can get you IMMEDIATE answers instead of waiting for forum thread replies.
Cyclone owners seem vastly underrepresented at Heartland Rallies. I don't know if it is because the Toyhaulers and all other Heartland RV owners generally seem to be 2 different demographics (i.e working couples with kids vs. semi/retired couples), but the rallies welcome EVERYONE, and I think it is nice to be around families with kids (for a short weekend). A big story on how welcoming our rallies are is that our present Western Regional Owners leader, John Dawson, attended more than a few Heartland Rallies as a SOB (Some Other Brand) owner. He got the Heartland fever, bought a Landmark, and became a leader in the owners group.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I am pretty active on another couple of forums, and I will try to contribute here as well. I know how aggravating it can be when people are only takers and never have anything add to the forum.
