I just got my life membership card yesterday. It is a great deal. I think it was a verbal conformation over the phone of my veteran status.

DD214 or ID card should be enough.

I received my Lifetime Membership based on veteran status. I e-mailed my DD-214 (in .pdf format, I blanked out first 5 digits of SSN)) to the Good Sam representative I was talking with. Received immediate response of acceptance, and was even given a credit for existing membership so I paid less than the quoted $149. Thank you Good Sam for supporting our military and veterans!!
