Heat pump

Our “new to us” 2015 Bighorn will be delivered tomorrow.... YEA!!!!

Question: how can I tell if my AC has the “heat pump” function???

Also - do I control my furnace through the same controller???

Sorry for seemingly silly questions....

I’m sure I’ll have dozens of more as we go....

(Been living last 12 years in a Class A coach so this will be an adjustment for me)

check above in the TOOLS tab there you will find all kinds of infomation, including the Owners Manual for your BH. I'm sure other will chime in later & welcome to the group

We have heat pumps on both AC units. Each AC has its own thermostat. Scrolling through the modes on the thermostat there will be a Heat Pump mode, or may just say HP, if you have heat pumps. If that mode is not there you don’t have heat pumps. The furnace is on one of the thermostats, not both. Not a lot of trailers are sold with heat pumps. We ordered ours with heat pumps.
