HELP brake wiring

getting ready for trip next week, taking off tire covers, discover the wires have been chewed into, new dog. problem is they all are black wires with nothing on them, tried hooking them together , got side lights and tail lights, no brake or signal, brake box showed C for connect, ant ideal how to get brake and signal lights to work, thanks for any info

Well, depending on what rig you own, if you have the under belly Coroplast material, you may have to remove a couple of screws so that you can access the belly.
There are two wires that run into your brake backing on the axles. There should be a wire that runs from side to side inside the axle tube. This wire connects the two brake magnets side to side.
Each magnet has a neutral wire, and a wire that comes from your controller. When your controller gets the signal to send current to the brakes it does so via those wires.
You will need to look in the under belly for the wire that feeds the brakes.
