Hercules Tires?

Has anybody used them or have real world experience with them? You can get them for cheap. The cheap price is what worries me. Right now I am looking at $460 a corner to switch to a 17.5. Using the Hercules would save me $100 or $150 a corner. People love Maxxis and those are a Chinese tire. Just trying to get a feel for them.

Hercules have been around for years, I used them years ago. I thought they were a US. tire. But that was a long time ago.

Hercules tires used to be made exclusively by Cooper Tire and were manufactured with same design and specifications as the Cooper product. Don't know who they buy from today.

mattpopp, I've never heard of Hercules Tires. I have had Maxxis tires on previous RVs and have not had any issues with them. I know they are made in a few different countries including China but I think they are a good choice. I guess my concern with buying any tire would be the dealers ability to stand behind them.

I went with the assumption that the Hercules is made in China. So far it seems to have positive feedback.

Nothing wrong with Hercules tires. I do not see any 17.5's on their web site. If I were going with 16's I would chose a LT instead of ST just for the speed rating if nothing else.

$282 Tire and Rim, But I dont think our trailer axles have the correct hub for this style of rim. Have to check, but if it does I will be all over these

This is the cheapest place that I have found the Goodyear G614. These come with a Steel Rim and they will not sell without the rim. $293

I was just looking for that info, I should have waited for you. I would not be the least bit afraid of the Hercules tires.

I have wasted most of today researching those tires. Pretty much come to the conclusion that they are as good as any other brand on the road. But I was thinking they were much cheaper then what I found them for as they are competitively priced.
