Hey All!!

Hey All,

We just purchased a 2013 Heartland North Trail 33TBUD to replace our Jayco Jayflight 23FB as our family has totally outgrown our trailer. It will be a parked trailer so if anyone has any suggestions on how we should do this that would be great! Looking forward to our new summer home and being a part of the Heartland family!

Thanks,

Jason & Barb

Wow! I have finally found someone else with a 33TBUD! Congrats! haven't camped with it yet, but Tuesday is the maiden voyage from the driveway.

We're not going to park ours, but hope to travel to various parks this summer (IF the gas prices don't go crazy).

Welcome to the forums! If you're parking it on a seasonal site (like we do ours), might I suggest getting a patio box to store your chairs, games, and other outside items in. I took one, trimmed down the snap fittings and drilled it to assemble with bolts and wingnuts. When you're not at your trailer, a simple padlock keeps honest people honest, and the gear out of the weather. Here's some photos of ours.

Of course, with our rig, I can stuff the dissassembled box and most of its contents in the front compartment to haul it. On site, though, it eliminates having to wrestle stuff in and out from the compartment.

Hi dadtoandrew,

Congrats to you as well!! We just put our 33TBUD in our seasonal site last weekend, had our first sleep in it and it was awesome!!! We upgraded from a Jayco Jayflight 23FB and with 4 kids and 3 dogs it was well worth it!! So much room now that we're dodging ghosts as we walk through it!! Gas prices and the fact we have a Pontoon docked near where we are helped us decide to park it. Good luck on your first trip, i hope it went/goes well!!

Hi John & Darlene,

Thank you for the advise! One bonus' of parking our trailer is that we can have a shed to store all those seasonal 'tools'!! But i will file your pics in case we get the bug to hit the road again! Definitely a good idea and a would give us peace of mind to know everything is safe. It's always a worry when going to all the different campgrounds and nothing ruins a good camping trip like coming back to a site that has been ransacked. :(
