thanks for all the information on trucks/and rv----we did buy the 3500 chev duelly and just ordered a 3670.---With the truck came a husky 16k hitch---will this hitch (husky 16k) safely pull a loaded 3670?---what recommendations do you have for another type of hitch if we were to upgrade?

Well, you're at the limit if you load that trailer to it's GVWR.
If you decide to change, look into the Curt Q5 20k fifth wheel Very popular with RV transporters, inexpensive compared to some with comparable ratings.
I like mine and would get another, easy to use, pulls well and looks nice too.
