I have a 2021 Sundance 283 RB. It came with a camera mounted on the rear. What do I need so I can see it in the truck?

You will most likely have to remove the bracket on the back and install the new one. Yes with a complete camera package you should be fine. The new camera may no fit into the existing bracket on the back of the trailer. If their is no power at the the existing bracket, you can pull power from the marker light... But if you need to realize that the camera will only work when the trailer marker lights are turned on.

Hmm interesting. You would think with a 2021 model it would have it. Thanks. I will invade it next to see what I really have behind that plate.

my 2018 had the wiring behind the cover plate which was tied into the roof vent fan in the garage. I wired my camera into the clearance lights.

look at Furrion Observation Camera, these would be plug and play for that bracket, it is probably wired to your clearance lights so they would need to be on to power the camera, ours was not wired to the clearance lights so there was an empty fuse holder in the storage bay I had to put a 10a in for it to work

here is the bare bones option, they also have bundles with larger monitors and side view cameras, the 4.3” was the only option again LE when I installed ours but have since upgraded to the 7”

If trying to use clearance light circuit, I found my wiring to have low voltage at the rear of the trailer. Refitting all of the incandescent (filament) clearance light bulbs with LED types dramatically reduces the current draw (1/10th) on the clearance light circuit, and raised the available voltage at the rear camera area. Side benefit of the clearance lamp retrofit is that the LED lamps can be expected to never burn out in a normal RV lifetime.
