Hot water not getting to temperature

Both on electric and propane the hot water was not getting very hot.
Problem solved, forgot to close the bypass valve, it was mixing with cold water.

If you have an outside shower be sure the knobs are not in the on position.
Same goes for your shower faucets.
If the faucets are in the on position with a secondary on/off like on the outside shower head it will act as a mixer.
