How to close slide out manually

We took our first trip in our 2015 heartland road warrior 420 last week. We went to Sturgis SD for the 75th annual bike rally. On our way home we stayed over night in CO. When we got ready to hit the road Sunday morning, we were putting the slide outs back in and there seemed to be no issues. Then I noticed that the bedroom slide out was still out about 5 inches. When I pushed the button it did nothing. It wouldn't go in or out anymore. There was no motors noise at all. We checked all the fuses and reset them, unhooked and leveled the camper, or nothing in the way of the slide. Still nothing. The closest dealer is 3 hours from us. Any suggestions of how to get the slide out in manually so we can get it in to be fixed?

Hi Horsehairlady,

Sorry to hear you ran into problems. If the bedroom slide is electric, you might try looking under the head of the bed to check for voltage at the motor.

Do the other slides still work??

Look underneath the slide I had a bolt back out not allowing my slide to fully go in or all the way out tightened it and it worked like a charm ....

The other slide works perfect. There is no motor sound at all on the slide that is not working
