Hydraulic Jack Mounts

This might help with the discussion on how the hydraulic jacks are mounted at the factory. This is from the 2013 Goshen Rally Plant tour at LM/BH/BC factory. These frames were outside the door of the plant as we entered. The bracket is welded to the frame and the jack bolted to it.

Thats a great shot illustrating how the Jacks are mounted & attached to the frame. You can only see the full Welds for those brackets in a pic like this.

The pics below are from underneath my Cyclone 3110 and show how in some cases the bottom edge of the bracket is not fully welded and may give the wrong impression that the Jack base is not welded to the frame. With the long frame welds on each side, I dont think it matters if the bottom edge is welded or not...

When I was at Lippert I saw many frames stacked up, all with LevelUp brackets welded on.
I have also seen trailers without LevelUp but with brackets.

On CJ's picture, the bottom weld "may" be nothing more then a tack to hold the bracket in place prepping for the real weld.

That's my thought. It looks like the cut out for the frame is pretty well fitted onto the frame and providing some stability for the mount.
