Well as for Storage...We store our sundance at a local campground that offers yearly storage at a good rate of $350 per year and its a gated small campground.
As for the bed of the truck and the hitch the hitch is removable and we use a trifold cover on our truck and when needed we remove the hitch and have full use of the bed of the truck.
One thing we did find when we were pulling a travel trailer is we did NOT like the feeling of the trailer swaying when a semi or large vehicle went by us. We used load levelers and anti sway bars but the sway was still there only lessened. That does not happen in a fifth-wheel.
If those first two items are bothering you then even if you got a Travel Trailer your still going to have a storage problem.
