We've been in Sevierville since Wednesday of last week. Sadly we'll need to head home later this week, to take care of things and get ready to go again. Took a drive over the mountain to Cherokee, NC to visit with family staying there and to take a look around. On the way back, traveling though the Cherokee Reservation, we turned a corner and came up on a traffic jam. People were stopped all over the road and out of their cars gawking at 7 Elk that had wandered out on the road. 3 males and 4 females, were putting on quite a show, doing nothing and giving everyone an up close and personal viewing.

Pretty cool. The bull is in velvet won't be long before a full rack.

Jan & Bill - it was great having supper with ya'll - great company, great food. Travel safely home and let us know the next time ya'll are in the area. Will get together again.

It's mountain time!!! Headed back to TN Sept 6th - 16th. This time we're staying close to Cosby. Time to check out another area.

We will be back in Sevierville on October 18 - 26 for the fall colors. If you happen to be in the area at that time look us up at River Plantation RV Resort.

I wish we could but we're leaving 10/21 for AR, then up to Branson. From there back to Cape Giradeau, MO. Then to NW GA then home.
