We are Jim & Sharon, full-timing for 4 years & loving it. We really like our Hitchhiker CE, but now need a 2nd bedroom for Sharon's father. A 2nd bathroom or 1/2 bath is also a necessity.
We have looked at several 2-bedroom 5ers, but have not yet found "the" one. Many don't have enough carrying capacity (need 2,500 minimum; would like 3,000 lbs.) , or have slides or auto level that are problematical; and there are some that were a good product, but too many corners have been cut in the manufacturing process, & they are no longer suitable for full-time use.
I like the Heartland products, but am more familiar with Landmark & Big Country. How is Elk Ridge for full-time use? Any problematical areas? I would also like feedback on the 38RSRT.
