Inverter/converter location

Noticed on my 2020 Mallard m312 that my battery died over the winter. Put it on charge and after a couple days it died agai. I added a second and battery and put in an external charger and brought both up to 12v. After camping for 3 days hooked up to 50amp, they are both down to 7volts.

Looking for the location of the inverter to see it a breaker has tripped or if it's just dead, and ineed to replace it.

Did your rig come with an inverter?
What charges the battery is the converter. Converter takes 120VAC and changes it to 12VDC. Then charges the battery.
The inverter takes 12VDC and changes it to 120VAC.

The convert may be built in behind the breaker panel. It could also be behind the rear wall in the pass-through storage area.
Also, if the battery terminals were reversed during connection, the fuses on the converter could be bad and need replaced.

Typically, the issue is the mini breaker between the converter and the batteries (buss bar). Locate the mini breaker and feel for a reset button on the left hand side.

Honestly I can only assume, it's a 5 year old and have always been able to self maintain the battery.

I did find that in the nose of the camper behind a panel. I'll look at it with a bit more concentration.

Sometimes the converters are plugged into an outlet, and it has come unplugged.
Post which breaker panel you have in the rig.

A plain inverter will not maintain the battery, it draws power from the battery. A combo inverter/charger does charge the battery as well inverters 12VDC to 120VAC.
