Is the dealer supposed to remove the RV stickers at PDI?

I haven't called the dealer yet as my new RV has several little issues they should have caught but I also want to know if they're supposed to remove the outside advertisement stickers before they wash it.

Some do and some don't. A lot of the dealers don't take the stickers off because they feel that the new owners might like to keep them.

You would think so, but mine didn't. I removed them myself and found out why they don't during PDI. Some of them come off ok. Most are very difficult.

As long as they don't say "do not remove under penalty of law" lol lol lol the buyer can remove any stickers they want to after they own the unit.

Yikes, I'm going to have big brother coming after me, I took one of those labels off a mattress in 1976!

I'm having the dealer remove all of the stickers while the RV is in for initial warranty work. I don't know if they would normally do this but they (Camping World) are feeling a bit guilty right now so...

The longer they stay, the harder they are to remove. We waited till the sun heated them up, then pulled them off GENTLY. Rubbed the glue that remained with a rag sprayed with WD40. No stickers, no glue.

I used a hair dryer to soften some of mine up and then removed them. WD40 took the glue off and then wash and waxed the area.

If they find your shack in the woods, just pop in the Bubba teeth before you answer the door. Between the teeth and the beard, you won't look anything like your 1976 photo :)
